Collections

Organize your books into personal collections

Collections let you group books into named sets — reading lists, research topics, course materials, or anything else. A book can belong to multiple collections, and collections don't affect the main library.

Creating a collection

  1. Go to the Collections page from the main navigation.
  2. Click New Collection.
  3. Enter a name (required) and an optional description.
  4. Click Create.

Your new collection appears in the list, ready for books to be added.

Adding books

From the library, use the context menu (three-dot icon) on any book card and select Add to Collection. A dialog shows all your collections with checkmarks indicating which ones already contain the book. Toggle collections on or off, then click Done.

A book can be in as many collections as you like. Adding a book to a collection doesn't move it out of the main library — it just creates an association.

Viewing a collection

Click any collection card to see its books displayed in the same grid layout as the library. The collection header shows the name, description, and book count.

Editing and deleting

From the collection detail page:

  • Edit — Change the collection's name or description.
  • Delete — Remove the collection entirely. This does not delete any books — they remain in your library and in any other collections they belong to.

Removing books from a collection

In the collection detail view, each book card has a Remove from collection option. This only removes the association — the book itself stays in your library.

Progress in collections

Book cards within a collection show the same reading progress bars as they do in the main library. Your progress on a book is the same regardless of where you open it from.
